Remember what I said in my previous post? Just because you can multitask does not mean you should. Focus on one task at a time. Prioritizing should be one of the first instruments you master.
Being a multitasker and bombarding yourself with tasks will only lead to frustration and weariness. Then your dream will become this burden that weighs you down. All this angst and frustration might make you give up on your goal. You might mistakenly believe you cannot succeed. In actuality it was all the other stuff you added to it that made it burdensome. Handling one task at a time will lead to feelings of surety, lightness, and happiness.
If you are still feeling unease despite simplifying your goals, then you need to go back and reorganize your mind (this is a step that you should continually do throughout your journey and not just once). I find that the only times I feel confused, frustrated, and unease in my journey is when I am off my path. Then I need to stop and figure out what got me off that path and what I can do to get back on it. Usually it’s fear of failure, of letting someone down, and a sense of being overwhelmed.
It’s amazing how stopping, organizing my mind, and then taking one step at a time in the right direction, will ease my mind and heart. Then when I get where I want to go, I look back at how far I’ve come and look ahead and get excited at how far I can go.
